An agreement between Volzhskprodmash Production Association and Fata Engineering to establish Sovitalprodmash joint venture in Volzhsk, Mari-El.

First refrigeration product prototypes manufactured.

Sovitalprodmash covered operating area is 100.000 square meters. Annual potential output of the plant is: 153,000 refrigerated cabinets; 105,000 monoblocks and split units; 2.5 million m2 of coldroom sandwich panels.

Sovitalprodmash receives technical documentation and a license to produce Surfrigo refrigerated cabinets, Vercos coldrooms, and Uniblock Zanotti monoblocks.

A change of ownership model — the plant becomes a privately-held enterprise and launches the production of equipment bearing POLAIR trademark.

The time of delivery for standard products is reduced from two months to one week.

The launch of PolAir Planning project – the establishment of warehouses in the main towns of Russia which allowed to reduce the time of standard products delivery from one week to one day.
